Experience the beautiful mountains and fjords with your camera.
During a Photography workshop you will experience the spectacular Lyngen peninsula in Northern Norway through your camera lens. Lyngen is well known for the Lyngen Alps – a continous row og steep mountains rising up from the sea. Lyngen provides a variety of landscapes – including glaciers, moors, beaches, beautiful and desolate valleys and impressive rocks along the northwestern shore.
Heavy waves from the Norwegian Sea has formed the landscape for thousands of years and created an interesting and inspiring scenery for landscape photography. In autumn, summer blends with winter during a few weeks. Snowy mountains and peaks rise above the sparkling autumn colors and creates beautiful views in front of our cameras.
Two professional and experienced photographers will guide you and teach you how to create stunning photography. Jan R. Olsen and Bjørn Joachimsen know the landscape as good as our their pockets. They will teach composition and photographic technique and help you to create photographs that stand out.
Every night we go out and teach you how to shoot northern lights, if it appears on the sky. Sometimes the northern lights really dance above the fjords at mountains of Lyngen.
Our basecamp will be Lyngen Havfiske & Tursenter in Nord-Lenangen. Right outside the doorsteps you will find spectacular landscape forms surrounding the hamlets of Ytre Lyngen. We will take you to the rocks by the sea, the valleys, lakes, glaciers and moors in this area.
